Lvivteploenergo has launched a large-scale project to modernize the city’s thermal infrastructure. The general contractor, Cover Energy Plus, will carry out a comprehensive reconstruction by the end of 2025, significantly improving Lviv’s energy efficiency.
As part of the project, the following improvements are planned:
🏗 Construction of a new modern building and installation of four cogeneration gas-piston units with a total capacity of 20.38 MW;
⚙️ Installation of Bergen Engines AS (Norway) gas engines and Marelli Motori (Italy) generators;
🔥 Creation of an efficient heat power distribution system to optimize resource utilization;
🛡 Compliance with top-tier safety standards—the facility will be protected according to Level 1 security regulations.
This initiative is a crucial step toward sustainable city development, improving the reliability of heat supply, and reducing energy costs.
Additionally, as part of the preparation for this ambitious project, Cover Energy Plus specialists visited Bergen, Norway, to study advanced European technologies in cogeneration and energy efficiency.
The modernization of Lviv’s energy infrastructure is an investment in a stable and eco-friendly future! ⚡️♻️
